Success will be gauged by your prayer and participation. If you have not started using an “I C.A.R.E. Card” pick one up at the Information Station today and “share the care” with 7 family and friends in the next 60 days! Thursday, May 1 National Day of Prayer Spend the day praying for our nation, our state and the South Bay! Let's ask God to awaken us to God's unchanging message. The obedient response to that simple message stirs up spiritual renewal within the church, leading to revival and evangelism of the unsaved. Friday, May 2 Church Women United May Friendship Day, 10.30 am Ladies are encouraged to attend this program and luncheon on the theme: “God’ s Wisdom Inspires Hospitality”. Discover how you can reach out with God’s love! Sunday, May 4 Membership Class 101, 5.00 – 8.30 pm Attend with a friend who has yet to become a member and encourage them to formally join the family here at FBCPV! Thursday, May 8 The James King Band in concert, 7.30 pm Bring a friend and enjoy a night of traditional bluegrass music! Donations will be accepted. Sunday, May 11 Mother’s Day outreach, 11.00 am Every mom in attendance will receive a gift book, “What Every Mom Needs” and Campaigners will lead us in worship! Mothers of younger children will receive a coupon for free babysitting as well! Help us encourage each family to make FBCPV their church home! Friday, May 16 Wyldlife Junior High Half-Nighter, 6.00 – 11.00 pm All you can eat pizza, the Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian at the Regal Theater, followed by Cold Stone ice cream! Sunday, May 18 Baptism Sunday outreach, 11.00 am Join us as we baptize several and reach out to their families with the message of God’s love. A swim party and BBQ are planned afterwards! Wednesday, May 21 Beacon Light Mission outreach, 7.00 pm Come and reach out at this special evangelistic service by showing the love of Jesus to men and women who are less fortunate! Friday, May 23 ABCLA Dodgers Day, 7.40 pm Invite a friend to attend a great game against the Cardinals with fireworks afterwards! Tickets can be obtained in the church office before May 12. Sunday, June 1 CBU Worship Concert outreach, 11.00 am Invite friends and family to worship with us as the California Baptist University group, "Hope", lifts our spirit and excites our souls. Sunday, June 8 “Honor our Graduates” family outreach Sunday, 11.00 am Join us in honoring our young people and congratulating them on a job well done! Let’s seek out their parents as well and encourage them to make FBCPV their church home!
