“Hannah” - 1 Samuel 1:1-19

In the First Book of Samuel, chapter 1 we are introduced to Hannah, the woman who would be the
mother of Samuel. Through Hannah’s story we are given insight into how God works to give us the
desires of our heart for the good and glory of His Kingdom.

“Why Not Plan A” - Mark 1: 40-45

It is God’s desire for us to live and serve in His “Plan A” which is demonstrated through obedience to
what He asks us to do. Too many times because of sinful disobedience our life is lived in “Plan B.”  But
through our repentance and His forgiveness, God redeems “Plan B” for His Glory…  But what would
happen if we accepted “Plan A” by simply doing, in simple obedience, what He asks us to do?

“Do You Know the Lord”

When God first called for the young man Samuel, he did not recognize God’s voice. The scripture says
that Samuel did not yet know the Lord. The challenge for us is, would we know the Lord when He calls
our name, and would we be able to say like Samuel “Speak Lord for your servant hears”?
